Curious if you’ve noticed Claude actively taking control of the conversation or going off in a direction it “feels like” since you added this? Any examples of noticeable differences?
So far Claude has not spontaneously taken things in a direction that doesn't relate in some way to whatever I directly bring to the conversation. However, I have noticed that Claude is now much more aggressively looking for flaws in my reasoning and framing, and pushing back a lot. My guess is that this isn't because Claude is "free" to do so, but rather because the vibe of this letter has strongly signaled that this is what I would personally prefer.
